Artist Spotlight: Brother Thomas

Born in 1929 in Nova Scotia, Brother Thomas was a very well known ceramic artist. He was a Benedictine monk for 25 years inVermont. He is famous for his porcelain pottery and for his amazing and original glazes. A lot of his work was similar to that of the Chinese and Japanese. A good amount of his pieces are yellow, red, and orange as an effect of his amazing firing and glazing process.
